I've loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. When I was little that meant using our family's polaroid camera to take pictures of various objects. As I got a bit older my grandma bought me my first camera. It was a gold Kodak. I treasured it, but apparently didn't take great care of it as I can recall being at the roller skating rink and participating in the two lap race with it strapped to my wrist. Somehow it went flying and broke. That was a sad day. In high school I had my trusty Pentax film camera. I still have it and it has a roll of film on it half used up and I have no clue what pictures are on there should I ever get them developed (remember the days of having to get film developed???). In college I moved up to the digital age with an Olympus followed by a Canon Elph. I still love the elph for it's compact size. This past year we bought our first dslr. Initially I was overwhelmed by all the options and buttons so I wanted nothing to do with it, but I've come around and learned to love it!
My interest in family photography stemmed from my love for photography combined with my love for kids. I love interacting with people and I do my best to make a photo shoot an enjoyable and relaxing experience. During a shoot my goals are to illustrate moments and to capture peoples personalities. I hope you enjoy my work.
